Description

Select

Changes the cursor to an arrow that is able to select; this is the default-setting for the mouse’s cursor. This command is used mainly to return to the default setting after zooming or panning.

Zoom In/Out

Zoom in enables you to ‘close-in’ on the layers displayed in the working and reference windows. As you zoom in you see a smaller area in an increasingly better resolution.

Zoom out enables you to ‘back away’ from the layers displayed in the working and reference windows. As you zoom out you see a larger section of the displayed area in a decreasing level of resolution.

Note:    You can also zoom in and out by scrolling with the mouse wheel, by sliding the Zoom Bar up and down, or by using the Resolution Level control.

Pan

The Pan command changes the cursor to a panning cursor.

When the cursor is in panning mode you can click and drag the display until you reach the required location.

Note:    You can also pan in selection mode by clicking and dragging.
